Technique and Training
I have had the opportunity to train with, be coached, or learn from some of the world’s best coaches and throwers. I always want to learn more about the event, and that quest has led me around the world to seek out those who have been there before and can share a bit of their knowledge with me. Most recently, it led me to Kamloops, British Columbia to train under the guidance of world renowned coach Dr. Anatoli Bondarchuk. But over the course of my career I have also trained with and learned from many other top names like Harold Connolly, Sergej Litvinov, Vladimir Kevo (former coach of Primoz Kozmus), and Bud Rasmussen (former US Olympic Training center coach). As I learn more about the hammer, I also try to share some of that knowledge with others. See the writings and articles below to learn more about training for the hammer throw.
